I am an artist driven by a deep belief that beauty is everywhere in the wild, in nature, in the quiet moments of everyday life. My paintings are my way of holding up a mirror to the world, reflecting back the wonder and emotion that surrounds us all.
MY STORY
With both Costa Rican and British roots, my connection to colour, warmth, wildlife, and the natural world has always been deeply personal.
Being raised in the British country and taking our family yearly trips back to my other home in Costa Rica grew my connection with earth so strongly. In both countries, I would be drawn to the earth, whether it's the wild forests of England or the calm beaches and mountains of Costa Rica. The more I learned this belonging, this sense of grounding, the more I have been in moments where I have a richer experience of life. That same sense of feeling guides my work today.
Art became my language long before I had the words to express how I saw and felt the world around me. I was constantly drawing, observing, imagining, and finding comfort in creativity.
I continued this when I was in my teens, keeping a journal of where I would express my desires by sketching beautiful scenes and animals. I naturally was drawn to nature as it would ground me and connect me to something with a higher power. God, Universe, myself.
Between starting college and entering my early twenties, I had paused painting because I was led to believe art was not a career but my deep connection to earth remained.
After reconnecting with Costa Rica at age 26 Something pulled me back to my creativity.
After my ten hour flight home to the uk, I immediately bought myself a canvas and painted the wildlife I saw whilst there.
I allowed myself to create at pace, still not fully believing I could make this my career. But when I faced my biggest hardship of my sweet dog, Riley passing away in 2024, my grief placed me into seeking healing in the only way I knew how; to paint.
Now, I paint that emotion of connection, healing and inner power.
It's a spiritual and emotional experience a way of connecting the breathtaking beauty of the natural world and wildlife with the boundless possibilities of the human spirit. Each brushstroke carries feeling, each canvas tells a story of hope, wonder, and the extraordinary hidden within the ordinary.
My work bridges the wild and the human, reminding us that we are part of something far greater, and that anything is possible when we open our eyes to the beauty around us.
I’m inspired by the idea that life is full of unseen connections that energy matters, intuition matters, and that when we remain open to possibility, the right things have a way of finding us.
Whether I’m painting animals, florals, or dreamlike moments from nature, my intention is always to create work that feels grounding, uplifting, and emotionally alive.
